Dr. Carrie Cunningham, DC, C.A.C.C.P.
Chiropractor
Dr. Carrie grew up in Naples, FL graduating from Barron Collier High School. She then went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors from the University of South Florida in 2009. While earning her degree, Carrie took a job for a local chiropractor her senior year. During that year she got to experience firsthand the amazing changes that chiropractic care was making in people’s lives.
She decided on pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree after receiving a life-changing call at the office. The mother of a little three-year-old boy called, Little John, was on the phone. Just two weeks prior, he had become a patient at their chiropractic clinic. Little John was high on the autism spectrum, never looking anyone in the eye and always repeating the same words. The woman was crying, but after a few seconds, she explained that something amazing had happened. For the first time, Little John looked at his mother and said, “Mom can I have this?” Although it may not seem like much, it was life-changing for that family. After that phone call Dr. Carrie knew, if she could change just one family’s life for the better then it was something she had to do. She started chiropractic school 6 months later.
Dr. Carrie graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University College of Chiropractic in 2013. During her years at Life, she attended many seminars to further advance her knowledge in pediatrics/pregnancy. She earned her certification in Chiropractic Pediatrics by completing 200+ hours of course work through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. Dr. Carrie is also certified in the Webster Technique, which is utilized during pregnancy. She has an individualized approach and uses a combination of multiple techniques.
Dr. Carrie loves spending time with her amazing family ~ Dr. Dane, son Ananias, and their Australian Cattle Dog named Rusty. She also loves running, especially at Disney! Each day is a new adventure and a blessing!
